Detectives are hunting a man who viciously assaulted a BMW motorist by stabbing his hands.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon when the man was dragged out of his car in Moore Avenue, Grays, by drivers of a white van and a white Ford Mondeo.
One man slashed the car's tyres and the other assaulted the man. The 20-year-old was taken to Basildon Hospital, and then transferred elsewhere as officers are concerned for his safety.
