High-flying Wanstead crushed Orsett to send the south Essex side into relegation trouble.
Orsett picked up just two points from the game and this, coupled with South Woodford's victory, leaves them in severe peril just one place above the drop zone.
South Woodford are now just five points behind with two matches left.
P Shaw's 53 had been the mainstay of the Orsett innings while D Walters (76) sparked Wanstead.
