As if taking home one of the treasured trophies was not enough, the winners of this year's Basildon Business Awards have now received a healthy pat on the back from their colleagues.
Well done - Basildon Business Association members and organisers of the Basildon Business Awards after a celebratory lunch CYKWD1
The winners and sponsors of this year's Echo-backed event, which took place at the Towngate Theatre in front of an audience of nearly 500 people back in July, were the special guests at a celebratory lunch held in their honour at the Belvedere in Crays Hill.
At what has now become an annual landmark on the Basildon business calender, representatives of dozens of local companies, The Business Association chairman Simon Bruce presented each of the victorious companies with a photograph and a video of their big moment.
"The sheer number of companies attending today shows just how worthwhile the awards are. As a high profile event it allows them to share their success. It reflects well on the town as a whole, showing people well beyond our borders the tremendous businesses operating here."
A record-breaking 480 people poured into the Towngate Theatre to witness the 38 winning companies collect their trophies.
