Castle Point MP Bob Spink today urged school chiefs in the borough to log on and make the most of a new recruitment service on the web.
Headteachers can advertise for staff free of charge on SchoolPosts and Mr Spink feels the opportunity will make a real financial difference to local schools.
He said: "SchoolPosts is an excellent idea and I strongly recommend schools take advantage of this free service, to reduce the burden of recruitment costs."
