A tug-of-war match, bird of prey exhibition and a Rodeo mechanical bull were just some of the entertainment on offer at Great Wakering Parish Council's annual bank holiday fayre.
More than 4,500 people visited the fayre during the day and wandered round the variety of craft stalls while listening to band, The Receeders, perform a medley of songs.

Harry Morris, clerk of Great Wakering Parish Council, said: "It was a very successful day."
Rochford and Southend East MP Sir Teddy Taylor was guest of honour alongside Robin Allen, chairman of Rochford District Council.
