Nine-year-old Victoria Bignell twisted and twirled her way to victory in the Essex Gymnastics Qualifiers.
Victoria, a member of the Witham Gyrus Olympic Gym Club, saw off 42 other competitors in the eight-to-ten year-old category to win through to the regional finals due to be held in Ipswich in December.
Competing on four apparatus, Victoria won gold on the vault, silver on the beam and her two other performances on the bars and floor saw her credited with first place by the judges following the points count.
