Essex Chambers of Commerce has scored another networking success by helping two first class business teams secure a sponsorship agreement.
Mike Lumsden, Dealer Principal at Mercedes-Benz Direct, was introduced to Witham Chamber of Commerce member Ian Vernon of Creative Marketing Solutions - who also happens to be Sponsorship Manager for Chelmsford City Ladies' and Girls' Football Club - by David Clark, Membership Services Manager for Chelmsford.
The result was a win-win situation with Mercedes- Benz agreeing to sponsor strip and equipment for the club.
Mercedes-Benz Direct recently held a launch at the Waterfront Restaurant, Chelmsford to mark the Start of the Sponsorship deal.
More than 200 guests attended including local MPs Simon Burns and John Wittingdale, and representatives from Essex county football Association, the Referee' Association and the Ladies' Football League.
