It was a record turn-out at Braintree Rugby Club's fireworks display.
Held at the club's ground in Beckersgreen Road, Braintree, last night, more than 4,000 spectators went to watch the 18-minute display.
The display was put on by professional display company S and J Pyrotechnics.
All money raised from the event goes towards the clubs' funds and pays for play equipment and pitch maintenance.
Adrian Hanson, the club's treasurer, said: "We had around 4,200 people turn up, which is definitely a record in terms of attendance."
