A sheltered housing complex of up to 20 homes is proposed for a site in Hart Road, Thundersley.
The warden-assisted scheme, applied for by Chelmsford company Ryan Hallmark Ltd, would be a two to three-storey building with 18 two-bedroom flats and two one-bedroom flats.
It will be considered by planners later this month.
