Residents were today warned their homes could be bought up and demolished to make way for road improvements.
Benfleet residents are being urged to attend an Essex County Council exhibition to find out what they could be up against with the list of options to unblock serious traffic jams at Tarpots, in Benfleet.
Three St Mary's ward councillors are alerting residents of possible effects of the suggested options.
