The future of a flagship youth project was due to come under the spotlight tonight.
The proposal to build a new youth centre in Benfleet was to go before a meeting of the full council at the council offices Thundersley.
As landowner, the council has to decide whether the development - planned for an area in the South Benfleet playing fields - should be given the go-ahead.
