Rules for renting out council homes in Rochford district are likely to be made easier for members of the Armed Forces who want to return to the area.
Under proposals which are due to come into force at the end of next month, service personnel would be allocated 100 points if they had either lived in the district for five years in the past or had a close family member in the area.
