Two young hoodlums were today blamed for leaving Deanes School in Benfleet with a bill of almost £250.
A witness told police he saw two youths, both wearing grey hooded tops, crack three windows at the school in Daws Heath Road.
It is believed they threw bricks through the three glass panes, each valued at £80, last Thursday just before 7pm.
Police said it was the school's second attack by vandals in three days.
Last Wednesday 15 windows were smashed there on New Year's Eve.
Anyone who saw damage being done at the school on either occasion should call Benfleet police station on 01268 756221.
