Wivenhoe: 'GM pair' walk free

The case against Jack Upton 22, of Charles Street, Colchester, and Andrew Abbott, 33, of East Street, was discontinued at Colchester Magistrates' Court.

The pair had been charged with criminal damage (destroying property) at Sunnymead Farm, in Wivenhoe, on August 1, 2002.

Mr Upton, said: "We will continue to campaign."
