Curious scientists from Romania spent two days at Basildon Hospital as part of a project.

The biomedical scientists flew over at the end of last week to take a look around the hospital in Nethermayne.
They were given guided tours, seminars and demonstrations of how things work from the hospital's own microbiologists.
It is hoped the visit will help them develop and improve their infection control programmes back in Romania.
