Two long serving senior officers at Brentwood Council are to retire in the coming year.
The Head of Community Services, John Glanville, and the Head of Architectural Services Phil Blower, will stand down during 2004/2005.
Mr Glanville's retirement has led to the council instigating a full review of the management structure of the Brentwood Centre - which the council hopes to move over to a trust in the near future.
Council chief executive, Bob McLintock, said: "They both have a wealth of experience we are sad to lose."
