It will be a major surprise if Canvey do not continue their great Ryman Premier run at Park Lane tonight when they host Bognor Regis.
For the Sussex visitors are notoriously bad travellers and have managed just two wins in ten league outings this season.
Neil Gregory - set to feature for Canvey
That is in stark contrast to their home fortunes where their record of seven successes is only matched by tonight's hosts, the current leaders.
To be fair one of those two away successes came on Saturday with a 3-0 win at another Essex club, Braintree Town, on Saturday. And they have drawn away four times.
But, in contrast to Braintree, Gulls' home form is superlative and they have only dropped two points, in a mid-September 1-1 draw with Northwood, in nine Park Lane Premier appearances this term.
During that time they have conceded just eight goals while scoring 31.
The Islanders will almost certainly rely on the squad which saw them to their latest success, a 2-1 win at Basingstoke on Saturday thanks to a 95th-minute winner from skipper Neil Gregory.
