PDSA PetAid Hospitals are asking people to donate their unwanted Christmas presents.
Funds raised from selling the items in their charity shops across Essex help fund the pet charity, which has hospitals in Basildon and Southend.
The hospitals provide treatment for sick and injured pets whose owners cannot afford veterinary fees.
