Pupils at a Canvey school were involved in a series of activities based on recycling as part of the Waste Buster scheme.

The initiative, run by Essex County Council, involved an exhibition at Castle View School to raise awareness about the benefits of recycling different materials.
During the next few weeks the students will be carrying out a waste audit at the school.
They will also consider what action needs to be taken to reduce waste and boost recycling.
