Nominations are being invited for the Dettol Community Nurse of the Year 2004 awards, which commend exceptional achievements, dedication and excellence above the call of duty among health visitors, midwives and community nurses, such as district nurses and school nurses.
The award scheme has been created to recognise health visitors, midwives and community nurses who make a real difference to their local patients' lives.
Members of the public are asked to put forward examples where community nurses have exceeded the call of duty and gone that extra mile for their patients.
Nominations run until the end of August with final judging taking place at the end of September.
To make a nomination for the Dettol Community Nurse of the Year call 020 7479 0262, leave your name and address and an entry form will be sent to you in the post.
