Three determined teenagers have launched a campaign for a state-of-the-art skatepark to be built in Rochford district.
Josh Buck, 15, Darryn Wood, 16, both from Ashingdon, and Bradley Moss, 16, from Rochford, have spent the past year working hard gathering information and support.
Last Tuesday the three skate fans were special guests at the launch of the brand new Trax Skatepark in Clacton. After skating alongside professional UK skaters Danny Callow and Lee Blackwell, they left determined to turn their project into a reality.
Josh said: "We want somewhere good to skate without having to travel far and without being hassled."
The team still has lots of work to do finding the right location and raising funds. For more information about the project call Russ McLean on 01268 798637
