Pro-Plumb Essex Eels star Mario De Magalhaes has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn knee cartlidge.
The influential figure joins long term absentees Adam Butterworth and Ankur Amin on the sidelines -- much to the disappointment of head coach Stuart Hogg.
"Obviously it's not great to lose three quality players, especially with their experience but we'll cope," he said.
"Adam's doctors have reckoned that he could be back training within six weeks, whilst Ankur could be back within a month.
"Tony Walker is still out for a couple of weeks, so we are pretty low on the numbers."
