Tiddlers, which meets every Wednesday morning at St Andrew's Church Hall, in Southview Drive, held a party to celebrate the arrival of the PVC-covered foam shapes.
Organiser Gill Kimber explained: "The children play in them, on them and pull them apart. They can be stuck together with Velcro or separated.
"They are a lot of fun to play with and educational without the children knowing it."
The soft-play equipment was paid for with a government grant.
