Brentwood Cricket Club became the latest and arguably largest local cricket club to receive it's ClubMark accreditation recently.
Brentwood CC President Malcolm Webb said: "The ClubMark Accreditation is a marvellous achievement and endorses the commitment to youth development that we have at Brentwood Cricket Club.
"We have strong links with several local schools, particularly Brentwood School with whom we share a number of facilities, and St Martins School, who have regularly used our ground."
The award comes hot on the heels of the successful purchase of the freehold of the Old County Ground and is a sign of the Club's dedication to the future of the sport at grass roots levels.
