Sure Start, based at Greenstead Community Centre, Colchester, has been bombarding youngsters with the free healthy grub.
Family support worker Jenni Tinsley-Hall says no youngster will be ignored in the Greenstead, St Anne's and Greenstead Road area.
Staff have been handing out strawberries, kiwis and mangoes to local nurseries, dentist practices, baby clinics and shoppers at the Hunwicke Road shopping area.
She said: "Watch out for the Sure Start team giving out free fruit in the Sure Start area."
