This year's RIVERfest, international festival of music and the arts in Burnham, gets on track this Sunday when the MusicTrain leaves the station.
The train, which travels between Wickford and Southminster carrying bands and music-lovers, marks the start of a month of music and drama throughout the area.
The festival, which runs until July 4, will see more than 50 music and arts events in Burnham and the surrounding areas, featuring live bands, workshops and buskers.
Burnham band The Water Rats will be performing while floating on the River Crouch and Burnham's waterfront will see, among other things, a New Orleans jazz band.
RIVERfest is now in its 12th year and more than 3,000 people are expected to take part in the final festival weekend.
