Having won their first Shepherd and Neame Essex League Premier match of the season last weekend, Westcliff will be hopeful of carrying on the good work tomorrow.

They entertain a Shenfield side who they overtook with their success over a Fives & Heronians outfit currently propping up the table.

Having won all five Division One matches played so far, it is crunch time for Wickford tomorrow when they travel to nearest rivals Brentwood. And they then visit third-placed Hornchurch the following weekend.

Hornchurch are at Orsett tomorrow while Hadleigh & Thundersley go to bottom club Chelmsford.

Leigh are the most successful local Division Two club at the moment, standing fourth in the table.

They go to West Essex tomorrow with Stanford, just below them, visiting third-placed Upminster.

Horndon will be looking to start moving away from their current basement position, but might find points hard to come by at home to second-placed Woodford Wells.

But hopes could be brighter for third-from-bottom Billericay at a Hutton side immediately below them.

It is a rare occurrence for Basildon & Pitsea to have won two matches on the spin, but their chances of a hat-trick this weekend might prove troublesome as they host leaders Epping at Mopsies Park.
