A superb bowling performance from Chris Villani proved the difference between the two sides as Leigh recorded an exciting 36-run victory away at West Essex on Saturday.
Having been put into bat, Leigh were skittled out for 182 - with Dean Waller scoring 65.
His fine knock included some fine boundaries but the total seemed a little short for another battling Leigh triumph.
But thanks to the bowling of Villani, the visitors claimed what seemed to be an unlikely win as the economical paceman took six wickets for just 42 runs in a superb bowling display.
