Four-year-old water baby Lauren Desborough led the pack of 16 children in the annual splashathon/sponsored swim in aid of Little Haven Children's Hospice in Thundersley.
The event was organised by Lauren's mum Maxine of Hart Road, Thundersley, and took place at the Waterside Farm Sports Centre, Canvey.
Maxine arranges a charity event for her daughter and her friends every year, normally raising money for Tommy's baby charity.
After visiting the hospice Maxine said: "It's such an amazing place and they rely on fundraisers for help with costs."
Babies from 18 months to ten year olds took part in this year's event, raising £1,300. Lauren raised £300 alone taking her total fundraising efforts up to more than £1,000.
