The driver of a lorry loaded with rubbish was lucky to escape without serious injuries when it overturned in Pitsea.
Rubbish was strewn right across the road, under the PItsea flyover, and it took several hours before the road was reopened.
The driver, a 40-year-old man from London, suffered just minor injuries to his head and neck after the incident on Friday morning.
