Hannah Ueckermann continued her success from the World Masters Swimming Championships with four gold medals at the Essex County Master Championships.
The Maldon swimmer smashed two personal bests and in the process two new Essex records in the 40-44 age group for the 50 metre and 100m breaststroke at the event in Harlow.
She also picked up golds in the 100m medley and 100m butterfly, plus silver in the 200m front crawl and 50m freestyle and bronze in the 50m front crawl.
"I was very happy with the results, but especially the new records," said Ueckermann.
"My favourite stroke is breaststroke, so that was extra special for me.
"I've been working very hard to improve on that, so it was a great achievement."
Ueckermann swims for Witham Dolphins and her fellow two team members at the event also picked up medals.
Tony Shrimpton, from Maldon, took gold in the 200m and 400m freestyle and a silver medal in the 100m freestyle 65 plus age group.
