A man was today nursing a broken thigh after he was dragged across a garage forecourt by a car.

Police and paramedics were called out following the accident at the Lindhill Honda showroom, off Ipswich Road, Colchester, yesterday.
A 78-year-old woman was in a car in the car park at about 8.40am.
The car suddenly leapt forward, damaging five other vehicles and careering into the 40-year-old man, who worked at the garage.
He suffered a serious break to the left thigh bone and was taken to Colchester General Hospital along with the woman, who was in shock.
Paramedic Stuart Rhind said the man was lucky not to have been more seriously hurt.
