Two young children escaped injury by fleeing from a burning bedroom. Seconds after the fire took hold, the three and four-year-old brother and sister hurried to find their mum, who was in the garden.
The family fled to safety at the home of a neighbour, who called fire crews to the house in Deacon Drive, Basildon, just after 10am yesterday.
