A young man has died after being found in a garden pond having been electrocuted, police said today.
Paul Wallaker, 24, was found lying in a partially empty pond in Stambridge Road, Rochford, at around 1pm on Saturday.
Ambulance crews called to the scene found a jet wash near Mr Wallaker, of Queen's Road, Burnham-on-Crouch.
He was taken to Southend Hospital by the Essex Air Ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
