David Alan Pollard may not seem to most people like the most offensive of names.
Long list - the former David Pollard with the document confirming his lengthy new name Picture: ANNA LUKALA
To one Southend man, however, it was the source of years of ribbing from his classmates at a Southampton boarding school, who used to call him Polly.
So he simply trotted off to the deed poll office and got himself a new name - well, lots of them, actually.
Take a breath before you read his new 21-word title aloud.
He is now known as: Daffydd Jupiter Karl William Joseph Emma Adam Patrick Scott Benjamin Tempestt Jaquator Steve Michael Juan Kelly Nicholas Thunder Kris Jimaerscherialimy Kovack.
The 25-year-old computer engineer spent just £50 to change his name, much to the amusement of his friends and family.
He said: "My grandmother was not too happy, but my mum and all my friends were not surprised because I am a bit of an unusual character anyway."
Daffydd, who lives in Southbourne Grove, Southend, chose his Welsh Christian name due to his family's ancestry, while the name Jimaerscherialimy was chosen as a tribute to a Native American spirit guide.
