Players in Ballards Gore's June medal were still coming to terms with the difficult conditions on the course and only two were able to beat net par.
In Division One Glen Hooper (2) had a birdie and two bogeys on both nines to finish with a net 72 to take the medal comfortably. Del Roberts (12) with a net 77 was second.
No fewer than eight players finished with net 78, countback giving Andy S Hall third place.
Division Two went to new member Lee Benns (16) whose net 71 was a model of consistency except for the last hole where he had a triple bogey seven.
Tony Stallard (13), with net 76, was second while third-place went to Keith Holmes (15) with net 80.
Mike Parry (17), the other player to break net par with 71, was the Division Three winner.
Three players had net 74. Steven Kershaw (21) and Ian Johnstone (24) took second and third places respectively while Terry Fordham (17) was the one to lose out.
