A quintet of players from south Essex clubs have been called into the Essex men's team for County Week.
The Westcliff Hardcourts' quartet of Richard Barham, Simon Bonham, Gavin Bradford and Simon Harston have all been selected for the annual tournament.
And Thorpe Bay's David Tubbs has also received the call.
Richard Harrison, Tom Higgins and former Hardcourts player Vince Ranson complete the line-up.
Essex will be without Richard Wire, who is competing for Britain at the European Under-18 Championships, while Matt Coombes may be unavailable.
Essex's men will be in action in the LTA Inter-county Cup Grass Court Championships at Felixstowe, Suffolk, from July 19 to 23.
