Halstead Town boss Andy Clark has showed his determination to inject extra firepower into his side - by signing three new strikers.
Clark's Ridgeons League premier division team were, at times, wasteful in front of goal last season.
But the manager hopes the permanent signings of Ben Cranfield (Wivenhoe Town), Simon Head (Clacton Town) and Ergun Artun (Woodbridge Town) will help to change that.
The trio will compete for a place with last term's top scorer, Dave Barefield, who is due to pen a 12-month contract.
