FOUR women cabin crew members on an international Ryanair flight were taken to hospital after falling ill on board.
The four, including a women from the Totham area, near Witham, were all female cabin crew aboard a Ryanair Boeing 737 bound for Stansted from Girona, Spain.
An ambulance spokesman said the four women, including the 23-year-old from the Totham area, a 21-year-old from Dagenham, a 22-year-old from Ireland and a 21-year-old Scottish woman, had been working in the rear galley area of the aircraft when they began to feel nauseous.
Paramedics treated the four women on board after the plane had landed at Stansted, giving them oxygen.
They were then taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow for a check-up as a precaution. None of the estimated 150 passengers or any of the rest of the flight crew were affected.
