A youth centre could soon be given a facelift to improve the facilities it provides.
If it all goes ahead, Green Lodge in Old Road, Clacton, will be refurbished and remodelled through a substantial amount of capital funding from Essex County Council.
A feasibility study was carried out for the county council to consider the requirements and the possibility of improving the existing premises at Green Lodge, which is shared by the youth services and the integrated support services (ISS).
The proposed scheme would include providing improved accessibility as the existing accommodation is on different levels and some parts of the building can only be accessed externally.
There will now be a call-in period where councillors can review the proposal.
