BIKER rock is here this weekend in the form of Dumpy’s Rusty Nuts.

The band first appeared on the London rock scene in 1981, releasing their first single, Just for Kicks, soon after, followed by their second single, the bikers’ anthem Boxhill or Bust.

The success of the singles, along with a UK tour with the Blues Band, secured the band’s future.

Since then, they have played the Reading Rock Festival twice, supported and toured with many major rock bands and have played at the Isle of Man TT several times.

They play the Twist, in Military Road, Colchester, on Saturday. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are priced £8 in advance, available by calling the venue on 01206 562453, or £10 on the door.
