COMMUTERS face delays of up to an hour after a death on the railway.
A man was struck by a Braintree-bound train at Romford at 3.50pm today.
The line was closed for an hour while police investigated the middle-aged man's death.
He has not yet been identified but his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Delays are expected to train services between London Liverpool Street and Colchester, Clacton, Braintree and Harwich until 6pm.
Buses are replacing trains between Witham and Braintree.
