Well, it looks like our “cheer-o-meter” for Green Elms Health Centre in Jaywick is slipping back down again.

The “storm” we created in September got the management company ChilversMcCrea and the primary care trust promising great things for our future – yet again.

For a little while, we got some of the promises fulfilled – four permanent doctors, a very good manager, new appointment procedures and so on.

Things started to improve. But, in December, we did say our fingers remained crossed, and how right were.

Now, it appears some of the improvements have disappeared; gone are some of the doctors, gone is a very proactive manager, and who knows what else will go in the near future.

It all seems very strange to us. Were they just a “stop-gap” to stop us moaning and keep us quiet?

Maybe we, the people of Jaywick, are getting what ChilversMcCrea feels we deserve.

It must think we are easily satisfied, as we so rarely let it know how we feel.

Come on, primary care trust and ChilversMcCrea, prove you will keep you word – not tomorrow or the day after, or next week, but now.
