A NEW gallery at Colchester General Hospital has unveiled work created by mental health patients.
The paintings, drawings and photographs have gone on show in the Constable Wing, at the hospital, in Turner Road.
The three-month-long exhibition was organised by North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust community psychiatric nurse Lloyd Armstrong, along with support and help from Colchester-based artist Clive Wakeford.
Many of the pieces, created over a number of years by younger people with mild to serious mental health illnesses, will be for sale.
