It was good to read that the manager of Tiptree medical centre has won an award (Gazette, December 24).
My wife recently suffered a stroke.
The medical staff everywhere have been fantastic, from the first responders, ambulance crew and hospital emergency staff.
I cannot praise them all enough.
I am glad to be living in England.
It is still the best place to live, in spite of the recent economic downturn.
Give me England any day.
I am proud of our health services.
