A WOMAN walking along the carriageway in Clacton Road, Weeley, was involved in a collision with a Volvo.
The collision took place at 5.10pm on Thursday.
She was taken to hospital suffering from fractures to both her legs.
The 51-year-old driver was treated for shock.
