A COMPANY boss who has never ridden a unicycle before is saddling up with the aim of raising £20,000 for charity.

Neil Coulton, who runs Green Cartridges in Braintree plans a sponsored 30-mile unicycle ride in aid of Parc (Essex), which helps children with disabilities and their families.

On his 47th birthday, May 1 next year, he is planning to ride from Parc’s base in Great Notley Country Park to Chelmsford and back, via Witham, with is wife, Abbe.

The father-of-five, of Mary Ruck Way, Black Notley, said: “I can’t even ride a unicycle yet. I’m in the process of learning “We got involved with Parc about eight years ago through a charity event. I was just blown away with the work it does. It’s quite humbling.”
