A BUDDING actress is returning to TV screens next week for the second series of a popular Disney show.

Tianna Webster, who attends a stage school in Tiptree, is one of the stars of Disney Channel UK’s comedy series, Life Bites.

The ten-year-old, who also has modelling experience, plays the precocious Molly on the show, which last year regularly attracted two million viewers.

The Great Totham Primary School pupil, who finished filming three weeks ago, returned to the show after getting through more auditions.

She said: “I was really excited when I found out I’d got on the show. I went for an initial audition in London and then had a few recalls. I love acting.”

Tianna, from Wickham Bishops, goes to the Razzle Dazzle stage school in Tiptree, set up by her mum, Tara, 18 months ago. Mrs Webster said she and her husband Andrew were “incredibly proud” of their daughter.

She said: “Obviously, I’m biased, but I think she has a natural flair for comedy.

“Her timing is brilliant, she looks amazing on screen, and she is very much a Disney girl – she’s loved Disney ever since she was born.”

Tianna, who doesn’t like to watch herself on TV, said the four-week filming schedule was “kind of hard work, but really fun at the same time”.

The first series of Life Bites, which follows the adventures of a brother and sister, and their relationships with family and friends was an instant hit.

Tianna’s character, Molly, who is described as a calm, thoughtful and precocious girl, is the younger sister of the two leads.

The show is on at 10.25am on Saturdays and Sundays, from July 11, on the Disney Channel.
