A SUMMER fete will be held to raise money for St Helena Hospice in Colchester.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 30, at the hospice in Barncroft Close, Highwoods, from 11am to 3pm.
There will be stalls selling gifts, cakes, plants and toys. Refreshments will also be on sale including cream teas and a barbecue organised by Colchester Round Table.
Entertainment will be provided by a puppet show, a Scottish pipe band and a majorettes troup. Kate Alden, events and community fundraiser for St Helena Hospice, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our summer fete.
“There will be so much to see and do. Admission is free, although a donation to St Helena Hospice will be requested on the gates.
“All proceeds will go to making a difference to patients who need specialist palliative care in North Essex, as well as support for their families.”
