COLCHESTER United manager Paul Lambert has declared the club’s new town centre shop officially open. A crowd of about 100 people gathered to see the former Glasgow Celtic and Scotland midfielder cut the ribbon at the store in Sir Isaac’s Walk. U’s chiefs hope the shop will help to boost home attendances by making it easier to buy tickets for matches.
